Infiniserv Launches, Providing Cloud Computing Without Limits

Company Launches Three New Cloud Services To Grant Any Organisation The IT Infrastructure It Needs

Infiniserv, a C4L Company, has announced the launch of its three new cloud services, designed to give organisations the exact IT infrastructure they need under a price plan that suits them. Infiniserv provides virtual infrastructures ranging from single private servers to a whole data centre’s worth of machines, together with pricing plans ranging from per-minute to annual billing and in-house management of resources. This grants customers the flexibility to take on the precise service needed: from a single website server to an entire IT infrastructure to an elastic IT environment designed to deal with huge peaks in demand. As part of the C4L group, Infiniserv can also back up its services with total transparency, strict security policies, guaranteed CPU capacity and 100% guaranteed dedicated leased line connectivity.

“The cloud will be a great equaliser of the 21st century: providing businesses of all sizes access to IT resources without the capital costs of purchasing tools and equipment or the operational costs of management, training and support,” said Matt Hawkins, managing director of Infiniserv.  “However, these businesses still need services that are right for them: not only in what is offered but in the scale and price plan they opt for. An SME will have little need for a vast, scalable infrastructure while a business that works seasonally, such as a travel agent, won’t benefit from a fixed infrastructure with no option to expand or contract with the seasons. At Infiniserv we provide the flexibility businesses need to truly take advantage of the cloud, together with the quality of service that being part of the C4L Group gives us.”

Infiniserv offers three different cloud services:

Virtual Private Server (VPS) – An entry-level physical server replacement service, VPS grants organisations their own private server connected to C4L’s high-speed fibre network. As a result organisations that only need a single server, for example to host a website, can take advantage of Infiniserv’s capacity, reliability and connection.

Virtual Data Centre (VDC) – VDC is an infrastructure replacement service, capable of replacing an organisation’s entire IT estate. The service is instantly expandable and can be accessed from any location. It is ideal for organisations looking to take advantage of the cost savings cloud computing can provide: for example, by providing an expandable, easy-to-manage infrastructure that can be used by multiple branches of a single organisation.

Elastic Cloud Computing (ECC) – For organisations with wildly varying levels of demand, such as e-commerce or education admissions businesses, ECC is ideal. Users can scale between tens and thousands of virtual servers from one day to the next, using per-minute billing and comprehensive API tools to control exactly what resources they use and for how long.

Infiniserv’s services can be provided with per-minute, monthly or annual billing with discounts offered for long-term commitments. Infiniserv also offers comprehensive migration support if needed, to ensure that customers’ IT infrastructure is replicated and running as desired.

As part of the C4L Group, Infiniserv can offer customers guaranteed security, transparency and connectivity. Customers can be connected to the Infiniserv infrastructure using dedicated leased lines connected to C4L’s own fibre network, meaning Infiniserv can provide a 100% Service Level Agreement as well as the fastest possible connection speeds. By housing its infrastructure in C4L’s data centres, Infiniserv also grants a consistent level of physical security designed to meet the demands of the strictest IT departments. It is also completely transparent about data location, meaning that organisations can have full confidence on exactly where their virtual servers are located.

“The simplicity, flexibility and ease of access to cloud computing means organisations that would previously never have dreamt of having a large-scale IT infrastructure now have access to the tools they need,” continued Matt Hawkins. “As a result, the cloud is leading to a renaissance in computing: smaller organisations can get on the IT ladder, larger organisations can reduce their CAPEX and OPEX costs and all businesses can take advantage of increased flexibility and reduced management times that the cloud can provide. Infiniserv’s infrastructure services are an excellent first step for organisations looking to take advantage of this brave new world.”

Infiniserv’s VPS and VDC services are available immediately, with ECC to follow in Q2 2012.
