The reviewer, Exchange MVP and creator of ExclusivelyExchange.com J. Peter Bruzzese, recognized the platform’s ease of use, and its deep levels of functionality, flexibility and integration.
It’s not often I find a product overwhelming (in a good way). Typically, I find products do what they advertise themselves to do within the Exchange realm with a feature or two that might impress me along the way. Where Mimecast’s Unified Email Management (UEM) blew me away is that it does everything it advertises so smoothly, through a single console. Through cloud-based, geographically dispersed servers, they provide a 100% service availability SLA (with stiff financial penalties) for their solutions as well.

Recent research conducted by Mimecast has found that a large proportion of businesses are now using some form of cloud service, with a further 30 percent planning on adopting more cloud services in the future. Fashionable new architectures within the technology industry are not unusual. However, even allowing for a certain amount of bandwagon jumping, this rate of cloud adoption has been considerable.

Enterprise Mobility Boosted by Archive Search Capability for all Major Smartphone Platforms
Mimecast, the leading supplier of cloud-based email archiving,continuity and security for Microsoft Exchange and Office 365, has today announced that it is extending its mobile services to Windows Phone and Android. The Mobile Access apps – both available to download from today – mean that Mimecast is the first and only cloud email management vendor to offer archive search apps for all major smartphone platforms; Windows Phone, iPhone, BlackBerry and Android.

New Bloor Research report gives Mimecast’s email security ‘Champion’ status
Mimecast, the leading supplier of cloud-based email archiving, continuity and security for Microsoft Exchange and Office 365, today announced that it has been placed in the Champion segment of a new Bloor Research InComparison paper. The report examines the email security market, evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of key players in the space. It also features a Bullseye chart that ranks vendors as Champions, Innovators or Challengers, with Mimecast positioned closest to the middle and identified as the vendor most ‘fit-for-purpose’.
