Second substantial CDN customer win sees Geo excel in the media and broadcast sector
Geo Networks (Geo), a provider of high-performance fibre networks, today announced that EdgeCast Networks, the world's fastest and most reliable content delivery network (CDN), has chosen Geo’s dark fibre to deploy a new London infrastructure for transferring media files and applications to its ISP customers. The win marks significant expansion in the media and broadcast sector for Geo.

New sales director to exploit demand from the financial services industry

Geo Networks (Geo), a leading provider of dedicated fibre networks, has today appointed Carol Nash as its new sales director, finance. With over 25 years of experience working in the City, Carol’s previous incarnations include senior level roles in organisations such as Reuters and Cable and Wireless. She has previously worked with clients such as Deutsche Bank, Barclays and Lloyds. In her new role, Carol will be responsible for driving and accelerating Geo’s customer growth in the financial services sector.
